Preston Leyland Hotel, BW Signature Collection, Preston (Lancashire)

The hotel had some drawbacks like dated and tired rooms that were under-lit, but it was conveniently located near the motorway and featured good breakfasts. Service was spotless but few wedding services were available. The dining experience was hit and miss, though there were mugs in the room. Overall, a mixed experience with some positives and negatives.

My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly during a difficult time travelling for a friend's funeral. However, the rooms could use a bit of a refresh and could have been a bit cleaner.

The room was a bit of a disappointment as it had stains, holes in the walls, and scratched furniture but was modern, well-equipped, and spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed. The service was satisfactory, with friendly staff but occasionally slow responses. The location was convenient for various activities but had limited parking facilities enforced by Parking Eye. Dining options were average, and the facility upkeep was suggested for improvement.
